about uncanny creations
David Allan Dodson (AKA "DAD") has run through a few careers, from video production to teaching to public speaking, finally ending his career at UPS. He is most happily retired, so don't ask him to do anything.
​
Allan found his way to his artistic endeavors in the boredom of the COVID pandemic. After a few years brushing up on his high-school-shop woodworking, he branched out into printmaking, sublimating, and welding. His current "calling"--making art from repurposed materials--requires all of his skills, and he usually has to learn a few more along the way.
